POTENT VIBRATION

T. SHESHADRI (1961)

From time immemorial, India has been sanctified by the advent of avatars and great saints and sages, who, by their austere life and penance, realized the truth and contributed to the spiritual wealth of India. The 19th century marked the coming in of the great master, Shree Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, who realized the highest truth, that the divine mother is verily the adi shakti and also the Brahman in her formlessness. India is again blessed by the advent of the divine mother herself, who out of her infinite love and mercy, has appeared in the form of Sri Rama Devi, for the redemption of mankind and for reviving the sanathana dharma.

From the very childhood the life of Mother has been a manifestation of perfection and absolute purity. Even as a child of three years she had shown glimpses of her divinity by uttering words of highest truth. Living in solitude amidst many, loving all alike but attached to none, worshipping her husband as her lord, always absorbed in god-consciousness, yet performing all her household duties to the utmost perfection, she has set a glowing example. Amidst these activities she did twelve years of intense sadhana and reached the realization of the infinite, thus showing spiritual aspirants how, even amidst the activities of the world, one can attain self-realization. Thus becoming one with the truth, she has come out to spread the truth and liberate humanity from the clutches of earthly desires, and raise them to their divine status. Her teachings are essentially advaitic and her mission is to uphold the grihasthashrama dharma – that is, make every home an advaithashrama, a blissful paradise. She is the culmination of jnana and bhakti and a glorious combination of power and love. Her love knows no discrimination and, transcending all limitations, embraces the entire universe. It is the vibration of her love that works miracles. If any one, who, in the depth of distress, goes to Mother, her love spontaneously flows out in the form of nectarean words which make the individual cheerful and confident of marching on in life with hopes. Oh! the Love that melts, who can describe the glory of it which pours on all alike?
